　　This will introduce to you Dr. G.B. Roorbach, Professor of Foreign Trade of the Graduate School of Business Administration, Harvard University.
　　Professor Roorbach is visting the Far East to make a study of the commercial aspects of foreign trade in that part of the

world, not only as it affects Far Eastern-American trade but foreign trade in general. He plans to look into methods of distribution, organization of markets, methods of conducting business, including not only merchandizing but finance, banking, transportation and communication.
　　Professor Roorbach is familiar with the aims and purposes of the Institute of Pacific Relations and is very much interested in our work.
　　If you can assist him in meeting some of the influential businessmen of Japan, giving him letters of introduction that will be helpful in making acquaintances and visiting various places of business, I shall very much appreciate your kindness.
