是ヨリ先、当協会及ビ在日米国人平和協会ヨリ代表者各十五名ヲ以テ日米関係調査委員会ヲ組織ス。是日第一回ノ会合ヲ開キ、栄一其委員ニ選バル。

○十二月十四日、ボールス氏宛発信日米関係ニ付答フ(今日ハ戦争ノ初ニ於ル疑心解ケタリ、但渋沢男・中野氏ノ如キ有力者ハ加州排日立法ノ明年博覧会開会中ニ顕ハルヽコトナキヤヲ少シク憂慮シツツアリ、日米双方最善識者ヨリ委員ヲ作リ、日米両国間ノ争トナルベキ点ヲ研究シ、其原因ヲ除去スルコトヲ講スルヲ可トス)
   十二月七日瓢家晩餐ニテ此件ニ付渋沢、中野諸氏ト論ス
  ○瓢家ノ晩餐会ハ男爵中島久万吉ノ招待会ナリ。(「集会日時通知表」大正三年ニ拠ル)
